PLANNING ...
A GOAL WITHOUT A PLAN IS JUST A WISH ¡¡¡
Diagnostic ...Identifying needs ...Setting goals ...Designing strategies ...Selection of resources ...Monitoring goal achievement.. |
In my daily teaching, I have already established some procedures related to planning which are implemented according to the knowledge level of the learners and some other factors as class time, number of students and goal-setting. This procedure can be summarized in the following steps:
PLANNING STAGESIn this stage I identify the level of knowledge of the students, establishing possible strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) learners could have. after having identified SWOT through diagnostic, I have a better view about those topics where I should make emphasis and in the same way where I can take advantages of those group strenghts.
having identifying the previous needs, I just set touchable goals to be gotten little by little.
in this stage, actions orientated to fulfil those objectives are set.
having identifying resources the group have, I develop specific activities following the chosen strategies to be used in the best way in order to take advantages of those resources.
I do specific check points to verify if either strategies or activities are working and fulfilling those goals.
